Great place for dinner

This beautifully redecorated restaurant is everything good a person expects when they eat a Chinese buffet.

Dont believe anyone who one stars this place but claims its "mediocre at best." Obviously doesnt understand how to properly use the star system. We have never had a bad experience here.

Great Chinese buffet style food that won't break the budget.

Some dishes could be a bit more seasoning. Very clean and comfortable. Good food over all.

The selection on the buffet was large and varied. The food was delicious. The service was fine!

Went tonight to celebrate my father's birthday. Our waitress, who was hispanic, not sure of her name, was very polite, friendly and overall fantastic. I wish the buffet had more veggie options and less fried foods. Also, when I went to pay for dinner, my father placed cash on the table and I was tipping on my card. The cashier tried to tell me I didn't have to tip on my card because she saw my dad too cash. I thought it was a little rude to keep us from tipping what we thought she deserved.

Always good food. Bathrooms are another story.

Not bad. Clean place, food is pretty fresh. It’s nice they have a Mongolian grill so they can make you your own stir fry. Sushi isn’t bad, all of the Chinese food is spot on, actually really liked their catfish, hot n sour soup. The ice cream cone was meh, but I particularly love they had almond cookies and lychee nuts. Good price, will definitely leave full.

Decent food. Buffet stays fresh. Although quite a lot of fried foods and the software serve is more like ice milk.

Food was good, with a decent variety. My only issue was the take out costs as much as the dine in. Usually when I get take out at an all you can eat buffet I pay based on weight, here I payed by the small take out plate. Basically I payed full price for a dinner and only got a fraction of what I could eat if I dined in.

I would have given them a 5 before they changed things and started serving everyone, the waitress never changed her gloves. She was making plates, cleaning off tables, getting drinks, filling the napkin holder without ever changing her gloves. It was discussing.

I've been here before. The staff is very friendly, the establishment is very clean, and the food is really good. I'll keep coming back here, and I recommend China Crown to anyone who lives here or is visiting the Cape Girardeau area.

Food was not fresh, taste ok, drink had an unusual taste. Don't recommend this place to anyone.

Buffet wasnt the best but passable and staff is family and only children speak english

Hands down this is my favorite chinese resturant in Cape Girardeau!

This particular Buffet has closed but reopened down the street as "China Crown" excellent food excellent display excellent quality excellent service.

Last time we were there my niece and sister in law happened to be there and meant to surprise us by paying our bill. But our waitress also gave us a bill. So it was paid for twice. Next time we talked and they expected us to say thanks we found this out. My niece went in and told them about it and they basically called me a liar and said they didn't charge me. We eat there fairly often and always enjoyed it but will not be returning.

this is my place to eat i love it , my 6 year old will eat there to and he will not eat nowhere but burger king good job

Watched OUR waitress come out of the bathroom STALL with the same gloves she was serving us with, watched her again out in the open still didnt change her gloves, we most definitely will NOT BE BACK!!

Friday night buffet..6pm... Not packed, but decent amount of people there. Got our seat, got our 2 glasses of water. Definitely good quantities of food. But definitely not good quality of food. Rice was not tasty, lo mein noodles were not good. Egg rolls were missing any sort of flavor! Spring rolls were hard as bricks and same filling as egg rolls, not a good flavor at all. Everything we tried was mediocre at best. My husband did enjoy the sushi and the fried catfish was pretty good. The ice cream was good, cone was not. It was not a good experience for us. Not our kind of Chinese food!
